Immigration and the Digital Age
Some of my colleagues speak about their digital story project. The students featured just happen to be my very first group of ninth graders as juniors (they've now graduated).
"Teaching un-centered me, and writing of necessity is a vastly un-centering experience... Teaching kicked the autobiography out of me. Students weren’t interested in living in my past; I had to learn to live in their present."
